Water Authorities
Commonly used at water meters to limit peak flow rate to consumers.
Valves comply with ATS5200.037 (Flow Controllers), and AS4020.
They are manufactured in accordance with ISO9002, and carry the WaterMark Logo enabling water authorities throughout Australia to accept the valves without the need for further product testing.
Maric flow controllers assist water authorities by;
- Limiting maximum flow at peak periods.
- Restriction to 2 litres per minute to encourage payment of long overdue bills.
- Extending water meter life.
- Forcing water restrictions.
- Enabling economical distribution of water to semi-rural sparsely populated areas.
- Preventing the costly exercise of increasing mains pipe size to cope with increased population.
