Pump & Bore Protection
Commonly used to prevent over-pumping of bores where water table varies significantly.
The installation of a non-adjustable flow control valve can;
- Prevent overpumping of bores where initial water table is relatively high.
- Prevent cavitation and/or thrusting damage to pump impellors.
- Prevent bore from being sucked dry, and resultant pump damage.
- Protect electric motors from overloading.
- Prevent bore from drawing sand.
